Has anyone done this? The bar weighs 170lbs, not sure on the winch (it’s a Smittybilt XC) and I’ll put a poly cable on. I don’t want the front to take a nose dive so, any idea what the weight rating is on the stock Pro springs and what a good upgrade might be?

And does anyone make brackets to use the Rigid lights in that bar? Thanks.

I stuck with a 600lb spring. however its an inch longer. No issues here.

@AccuTune Offroad the OP looks to be asking about spring rates with respect to a Tacoma Pro and is likely looking for recommendation of spring rates for use in conjunction with the Pro’s factory Fox shocks. I’m in the same boat. Do you have any recommendations for springs to utilize on the factory Pro Fox shocks when adding weight to the Tacoma? Would the 14” 600 or 650 springs work with these? Also would you guys be able to retune the factory Pro Fox shocks to match new springs? Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide.

You absolutely must run 650-700# coils with that setup. You WILL experience sag over time if you don’t (people can debate this all day...whatever). Don’t forget the stock 3rd gen Taco is 300lbs heavier in the nose than the stock 2nd gen. The stock TRD OR coils are 700#.

Stiffness comes from valving for the most part not coils unless you have more than 100lb jump from stock. These trucks were made to run heavier coils than the 2nd gen.

I use to run the OME medium 2888 springs which are 590# I believe. Bad decision and horrible ride. Not only was it stiff as hell do to all the preload but it sagged an inch after 1 yr.

I now run 14” 700# Eibach coils with a lo-pro bumper and winch (135lbs). It’s fantastic after 1500 miles of the coils settling

Not yet...these trucks have a much heavier front end than the 2nd gen which does run the 600# coils
