Adding Corner Bed Lights w/out having the dash switches?

Hey everyone. So I got the pair of bed lights that simply fit into the factory mounting spots in the bed by the tailgate. The wiring was already back behind the tail lights so it was simply plug-in and bolt-on. However, my SR5 did not come with bed light by the 3rd brake light, which is normally the circuit my add-on lights tie into. Hence, there is no switch in the cab for them to turn on. But since the wiring was there, a certain amount of it has already been wired. I'm wondering how much. Anyone do this yet? Does the wiring go all the way into the dashboard, only requiring me to get a switch? And if I have to tap into the fuse box, where does the wiring that I plugged the lights into go? Any info. on this would be greatly appreciated!

 

Yes all you will need is the factory cargo lamp switch all the wiring is there. You will also need to verify the relay is already installed in the fuse box. Several recent threads here about this.
