    2" Lift
I currently have 2" blocks on the back and was thinking of getting an AAL and removing the blocks. I have a 2" rake and wanting a little less rake. If I was to install the Deaver AAL, could I remove the overload to bring my rake down? The Deaver is a 1 1/2"-2" lift, how much lift would I get by removing the OL leaf with the AAL installed? Are there any adverse effects by removing the OL leaf like diminished hauling capacity or bouncier ride in the back?

    Thanks

    10% loss in payload.

You'd also lose the thickness of the overload leaf itself - about 1/2 inch.

Would I lose anymore in the lift other than the thickness of the overload? Or does the overload not supply anything to the lift?

Just trying to figure out how much lift I will have after adding the Deaver AAL and removing the overload

Just put same add a leaf in my dc lb 2012 4x4 and removed 1.25 block and gained 1/2 inch from before install you will be happier in the end with the overloads in if you haul anything.

    1/2" less than with it.

Unfortunately when you move from a block to a spring, there are other variables in place that determine final lift outcome. The spring can be over spec, under spec, your truck might react to either differently than 10 other guys trucks wth the same setup.

It's an easy procedure. You could install it with or without the overload in, and then adjust as needed after you have it sitting on the ground again.
