    Not only is it updated maps but it constantly updates traffic data using the integrated LTE modem so that it can route you around traffic jams, similar to Apple or google maps.

    Garmin. Really. Never rely on a phone for navigation. My Toyota gps does better than my phone. Your phone, gps or not, still needs a cell tower. Downloaded are a joke. Where is reference for position if you have no signal? I stopped using them 7 years ago. Just get a true dedicated navigation device.

    One thing I really miss from my 2018 that my 2020 Sport doesn’t have is that the cluster would tell you what street you are in and the speed limit. Below is an example/pictures of the cluster icons Im missing that project these features. Perhaps adding what you are about to do may restore these features again. Keep us posted and add pictures as well!

    Huh? It only needs a cell signal to load the map. That's why you download the map and cell service isn't required. It uses gps to locate you just like your garmin. If your garmin works so will your cell with downloaded maps.

    I assume you go to the app store and just click install, then you plug your phone into the USB port.
