    Surprises
I have an 08 and I just bought a factory camera pretty cheap and have searched for a write up on installing on a truck that never had a camera but with no luck.

Reading different posts have left me a bit confused. so I was wondering if anybody could give me some insight.

The factory camera has 4 wires:

    RED
    BLACK
    BLUE
    WHITE

I don't know where these need to be connected, which 2 do I turn into the video cable? And are the other 2 power and ground? Should I run a power wire off an ignition activated power source to a 12v to 6v convertor for constant power?

The head unit (Pioneer AVH8500) has a specific reverse wire. Do I run a wire from the power side of the reverse to this wire? as a switch for the automatic changeover to reverse screen?

Thanks for the help, wiring isn't my strong point
