Adding Factory Cruise on a 1996 Tacoma

    subzali; sorry, I just saw your reply. Yes, I really think the original Toyota Tacoma switch will work, and as you said, it seems that all I would need to do is match the corresponding wires accordingly, and it should work. The thing is, the switch from Rostra [they do have several to choose from] looks exactly like the original Toyota switch, but it not designed to fit into the steering wheel as a Toyota switch would. I have not seen one in person, so I do NOT know if the Rostra switch would somehow bolt into the same bracket underneath the airbag. I am working on this though! I will post further if and when I do this! Thanks!
