On the base model SR with the utility package I can't get the cruise control and keyless entry package. is it possible to add the Toyota keyless entry using Toyota parts ?
    Thank you

Probably, but it's probably also cheaper to go aftermarket. +More range +Remote start. That's what I did.

    Hardcore off road floor mats!
You can put cruise in yourself. It's super easy, all 100% OEM Toyota parts. Cost $70 & 15 minutes if your time.

Check out @moe2o4 profile & look for 'SR Cruise control mod' thread. You can also add multiple stage switch for windshield wipers just as easily. That costs $100 (I think). Both 100% plug & play.

I would consider adding keyless entry but only factory parts so I am curious about this too. I did the cruise mod and the wiper mod based on moe's threads.

I've added it to an 09, I can tell you how I did it if that is what you're looking for? The new 2016 I'm not sure though.

I just installed that same thing on my 2017 SR and it worked like a charm. Bought the unit on Amazon for $104 shipped. Very simple instal.

The reason from what I understand that the dealer will not carry the part or be able to order it is because it's a port installed item.

I spoke with my dealer and they said if I install it on my truck and have problems that it would be covered under warranty.

Simple and straight forward instal worth every cent

Funny, I'm at the dealer now getting it installed as part of my deal when I bought the truck. How long did it take you to install and program it? I'm going on 5 hours now at the dealer...

It took me 2.5 hrs and I am OCD about my truck and especially wiring and making sure it's clean and concealed.

When I asked the parts guy that was the story he gave me that it could not be ordered. Either way I got it on the interwebs and it worked so no bother to me. Guess they did not want my money lol

Looking at the diagram I would just omit the steps of headlights and horn. The only thing is that I don't know if the brain will still recognize it. Worth a shot. Just leave those wires capped and zip tie them out of the way don't clip them just in case.

I did not hook up the headlights and horn. It still works as it should.

Looking at this mod, wondering if such a thing exists for a 2019 Tacoma - or if this would work.

Thank you. Yea, I have confirmed this will work with my 2019 Tacoma. Now I am trying to find out if the remote starter that works with OEM key fob will work with this unit. I have asked several places but haven't gotten an answer yet. I am anxious to buy this unit once I find this out.

Thanks! I actually just figured it out. Swapped the door control module from my 08 and it worked plug and play. 211870-101
