Just curious if my 14 tacoma has pre-installed wiring for heated mirrors? If not, what's involved to add heated mirrors? Thank you

I did this last spring. I used 2013 4runner mirrors and mounted them to my 2015 perches. The wiring was there, so I cut the plug from my mirrors and put them on the new ones (checking wires for proper operation.) The puddle light and heat required pulling wire (pretty easy-remove the door gasket to feed them through.) then wired in a timed relay to an AirOnBoard switch. There are pictures on here somewhere and more detailed description of what I did (my internet is not working so I cannot search for them for you...) Very doable. wires should be there (but no guarantee-pull a door panel and look.) Also there are several write ups-go through them. I think there is a 14 specific write up... good luck and have FUN! they look and work great. well worth doing. Heated seats too.

    G-shock! and lickskillet[OP] like this.
