Adding leaf springs for a shell?

    That's what I did - Firestone air bags with my Leer cap. I installed the Firestone compressor under the hood and the remote pressure gauge under the dash, so I can adjust the air bag pressure any time going down the road to make the ride feel the way I want. I usually run around 10 psi. If I load a bunch of stuff in the bed I just pump up the bags to level things out and it's too easy. I'm surprised more guys don't do this. With a stronger rear leaf pack you are stuck with that spring rate no matter what and they usually have a rougher ride when not loaded, but with the air bags your spring rate is fully adjustable.

    Now should I just get the OME HD dakars or not. I’m just going to run shell and a toprac and when camping RTT sometimes maybe

    Good choice. Toyota leafs are shit. Best to get rid of them completely as anything you add will but be a bandaid.

    Lifted, kmc 17x9, Cooper 33s, katzskin leather, topper, front bumper light bar.
    I have a ranch topper and my rear end sits a bit lower than my front. Would ome 2" medium dakars give me about 1in lift having the topper?
