If its apples to apples, go with the 599- unless you want to spend the extra 100 and look at it as a little insurance just in case something goes wrong if the second company is offering a warranty and the first one is not. ;)

WOW! It's about time. I wonder though if this is the new set-up for the 2012 Tacoma? They are suppose to have a new dash, center controls including the ones for the A/C.

my friend got something similar like this for his honda pilot. looks OEM too. So far he's been using it without issue, however I need to ask him about the GPS, as that is what I'd be worried about.

Pioneer indash navigation unit, Illuminated 4x4 switch, HID heads and fogs. Black leatherette GT seat covers. toytec Ultimate lift. Now its time to mod exterior.
But wasnt sold on it. I wanted something more proven. Someone that has been around to fix the bugs and dial the unit in. I chose the x930bt from pioneer. The best Nav and sound system I have ever had. Plus it was only 799 from crutchfield with a 100 dollar rebate on this system till oct I think.
Not only does is make the speakers sound awesome but the options this thing has is incredible. 32,000 different colors to match existing lighting. The install shroud is cool it is included and fits good and has a nice texture similar to stock but in black. Which I greatly prefer.:D
    here is a taste

Smoke headlights, improved LED tail lights...Pending: De-chrome badges and grille, new tires
I love this. I didn't see that it came with the cable harness though. I'm sure if it is not included, it is another $100 unless it is not needed at all.

Please let us know if anyone gets this.

    You will need this:
    http://www.amazon.com/SWI-PS-Steering-interface-Bluetooth/dp/B004P7N236
And a moderate amount of installation ability to hook it up as it requires soldering a resistor in line with one of the wires.
