Yea. that's what I was thinking. I seen some on ebay that are made to plug into the back of the stock head unit that might work better but I haven't took it out yet to see what I might need. Wish they would just get with the time and use normal connections for things like this and RCAs so adding aftermarket stuff wasn't so complicated. I was highly surprised there wasn't a factory usb somewhere else and a AC plug besides the bed but that can be taken care of. A couple more projects nevery hurt anyone

yeah, I kind of like it because it gives me the freedom to place things where I want them instead of dealing with were some monkey engineer decided to put them. I would like to talk to the engineer who decided heated seats were what the OR needed instead of something more practical like front lockers.

A passive y-cable would work for the audio jack, but two sources plugged in at the same time would "mix". Only one jack could be used at a time.
As for the USB, a passive y-cable could ONLY be used one jack at at time, with the other being empty. (Except for a cable with no device attached)
iPod and flash drive simultaneously would cause the head unit to shit the bed, corrupted data being received and possibly damage to either or both USB devices.
As previously stated, a USB hub would be required to manage the flow of data, but will not function without drivers. I doubt very much there were any drivers loaded to the head unit OS.
Good luck, and let us all know if you find a USB hub that works.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLUGGING ANYTHING INTO THE FACTORY USB PORT OTHER THAN DEVICES STATED IN THE OWNERS MANUAL FOR YOUR TRUCK/HEAD UNIT.

Just a little cover my ass..

I read on here that the entune head unit reads each side of a splitter as a separate source, so you could pop the existing thing out, push it behind the dash, add a regular usb splitter, and then wire from that splitter to the console or glove box for your second USB input.
