I have had racks on my older Tacoma but not sure how to add a set to the new 2017 with composite bed. I don't think I should cut holes in the composite. What is the solution?

I use two sets of rack to haul lumber, ladders, etc.

Could I take the bed out and Line-X it?
    Thanks for your help.

I've heard of some people line-x ing over the composite, but I don't know how well it turned out. Unless you have a custom made metal bed, the composite is your bed. Several vendors on here have some nice bed racks to put on these trucks. I'd see if one of those will work for you, and get the oem bed mat.

Search for VooDoo racks they have several different ones... I have the low bed racks... can carry 2 12' Kayaks laying face down below the roof-line and fully loaded with enough camping gear, food, beer and buds to last us a while (weeks).

note: depending on average daily beer consumption, you may need to re-supply.
