Adding rear seats to access cab

So, I have a 19 SR access cab with no seats. I spoke with dealer and in parts alone they said it’s be $9000. Yea ok. After several months of patiently waiting to find some for sale , I finally came across a 19 OR access cab on eBay that was wrecked. A little negotiating and I was able to get everything I needed to add them in mine for $375 shipped. If everything goes as planned and I actually receive every little piece needed , I’m going to post pics , walk you through the process , and do my best to give as many details as possible . The pictured truck is the one the seats are coming out of . Seats should arrive 5 days or so from today.

 

I thought access cabs didn't have rear seats, just those little foam pad thingys to sit on

I think the only important part is the seatbelts, and their mounting ,install and the headrests. I wonder if the rear seatbelts have a warning chime? I've never checked mine.

 

I have the rear seats from my 2010. I would have sold them to you for $250 shipped.

 

They are removed and for sale. Just not listed anywhere

 

He'd also need all the seatbelt stuff and probably different plastic.

Ill bow out now, since I just realized OP is a 3rd gen.

 

I wish my truck came with rear wheel steering.

 

If you smash it hard enough going sideways into a tree u might be able to get it bent the right way

 

Good find. I just removed all of mine, probably going to keep it all, but I’d never let it all go for $375. Has to be at least $100 to ship.

 

Update - seller got everything pulled and notified me it was shipping out today

 

you should ask for the storage bin & lids for under the seat as well. Don’t think the ones from the utility model will work.

 

Did your truck come from the factory with no seats? I'm no guru on every model that's offered but have never heard of that configuration. Is it a thing?

Ah. I had a first gen access cab back in the day and have had two 2nd gen double cabs but don't know much about all the various trim options. But $9000!? Holy moly, what do dealership people put in their coffee?

 

well that's pretty much the definition of a seat...

 

These are more "seats" than ANY 'jump seat' you'll find on an airliner. Typically not much more than a glorified covered icechest lid.
And on a $105 million jet, I'd betcha these puppies cost one H E double two sticks MORE than what those deluxe Toyota seats cost
