I picked up a satellite module from another member a few weeks back, and only recently attempted to install it. Well..

My truck has the single-disc CD player, AM/FM, and satellite button. I read on a similar post of a user suggesting to push the AM/SAT button and to look for a numerical code to be activated. Unfortunately nothing popped up aside from a spoken word station on the local AM. (Yes, I pushed the AM/SAT button twice.) Further down that post, someone suggested looking for the “shark fin” antenna; of which my truck does not have.

After pulling the unit from the dash, I began to wonder how TF the module I bought was mounted, much less, wired into the headunit. So, in character, I put everything back in place, and am posting here for some insight.
