Adding steering wheel radio control?

2013 Superwhite RC

Trying to add steering wheel controls to my 2013 RC Base Taco.

current clocking spring doesn’t have the correct plug for controls so I got a new one.

new clocking spring (2nd pic) has a 12 pin, but the wire under the column on the truck currently only has 1 wire in that plug.

anyone have answers on what I need to get this connected?
