I will be getting my TRD Off-Road soon. I removed my winch from the jeep and plan on installing it on the truck.

I'm not going the full bumper route but looking at the RRW Hidden Winch Mount or the Body Armor 4x4.

Since both are steel mounts and the winch would weigh around 35 lbs or so, would I need to have the front suspension leveled due to the weight?

I have a SSO slimline and a Smittybilt x20 with synthetic line. I saw maybe an inch of drop in the front, and it doesn't nosedive too terribly. It'll work for now, but I'd eventually adjust your suspension. Ill be going the OME Nitro Charger route next month.IMG_5535.jpg

I went with the OME 3" lift and 285's (still have factory tires in this photo, 265's). Don't even notice the weight of of the partial bumper and the Smittybuilt X20 (approx 150lbs? total all in).

Your winch only weighs 35 pounds? My Warn XD weighs 85.

Expect to lose an inch and if you offroad you will bottom the shocks out a bit.

A lot of people upgrade with heavier springs or lifts. You can look into affordable options like OME and Bilstein.
