Looking good man! Have you thought about wrapping the pice of stock bumper to match the fenders? Not sure if it would look off by doing that or maybe help it flow even better?

Dude the glass on your ride is looking mean AF! Curious to see how the rear turns out.

They are sitting the garage! I was going to install but don't feel like it anymore. So now I need to find an installer.

I don't think there's such thing with these. I have an easy fix I just ran out of time before I had to leave. I have no idea how they are supposed to match up. Even if they did have an insert it wouldn't work with my bumper.

Thanks! Yeah I have a decision to make for sure. I don't want to cut the bed and I really don't want to cut off the factory shock mounts. I wish they were riveted on. That'd make it easier. I have some ideas for a bolt on hoop. I just need to find a shop that will make it. I don't have a tubing bender. I need to go back and start replying to that thread I created for long travel. There's a lot of good info there that I need to sit down and read.

I will say this, if you plan to not atleast relocate the shock mounts for your rear then I would be curious what the full gains can be. You may want to get in touch with @ARCHIVE to see their offering. They can achieve a 14 inch shock relocation with their shackles. They also have an SUA kit if you are looking to do that.

I'll probably go sua as long as it's a bolt on (except for the perches). I'm so sick of grinding and cutting.

I just wish I would have done it that way the first time. My rear setup was expensive to start with. And only a couple thousand miles old. But that front travel feeling reeeeeaaaaally makes me want to match the rear. What I really need is to ride in one. Not really off road just around town is good enough to get a feel if I want to do it.

I agree with you and I need to do that too. I think I am going to start planning to glass my rear first as I want that out of the way. The good thing with your rear is you can pretty much sell it for a decent price as it was just bolted on to begin with. That's the nice thing about mid travel, all the stuff unbolts and unless it was heavily used which if so then they can just be rebuilt. Going with the LT stuff, you have to cut and fab which obviously makes it a little harder to transfer over in a sale knowing someone needs fab skills if it has been used and stuff. I think if you are going to commit to change your rear, I would venture to entertain a few LT set ups and try to really understand the limitation of not going LT. My rear is solid for now, but its also a lot cheaper than going the full blown triple bypass route. Im sure in time I will get the rear fully done. Nice thing is I can sell the TC kit after I go with a DMZ kit pretty easily as it wont require much fabbing besides the perches. Not to say that a full LT rear isn't marketable, but the process in taking that off could hinder its continued use after.

Do you have the TC SUA kit? I can't remember. Or are you still SOA?

If you do have the TC kit, did you ever have a decent SOA kit? That's question I want to know. Without going crazy on the rear, I'm talking a good bolt on SUA with some good remote shocks (like what I have), was there a big difference moving to SUA. I'll never have a crazy rear setup - I'm done spending 5k+ on one end of the truck.

As for bedsides...I carry a tent most of the year with a rack. So I'll have to completely redesign that if I go fiberglass.

I got the SUA! Kind of have to have something since Im 3.5 up front. My rear was stock before I went SUA as I didn't see any reason to invest in an SOA since I wanted a high speed set up to eat up stuff. NO offense at all to any SOA guys out there. My rear now sways like my front does, but I need for it to have more weight to really get a good feel with the heavy duty springs. But yea man, when it was installed, the rear was night and day better for me. Felt more cushy and shifts around, the shop who installed it had never installed an SUA on a truck before and they were confused at me doing this. Once they drove the truck, it def changed their perspective. I wish I had a modified SOA before to help give you some perspective as Im sure your SOA felt better than a stock rear.

Funny you say that about the bedsides, I just completed a primitive bolt on design that utilizes the stock bed bolts that are along the bed frame to attach a bed rack. I need to email my fabricator to see what he is looking to charge for it, but that is likely my next step. I can def keep you updated on what he thinks, but I know I will want glass for the rear sooner or later and cant have the weight on the bedsides like you said.
