I've only really been over most of utah and maybe 1/4 of Colorado. The west coast is new to me.

I'd really like to to drive to and from Alaska. I'm not too fond of bears so that'll be a tough one.

I also need to find somewhere that can build me some new u bolts. I ordered these and they are super thin. I'm a little scared to drive on them.

They said half inch which are the same as my all pro ones. But there is no chance they are the same.

Thats a dream drive for me also. I hope to move a little closer so I can make it happen or find a job I can take off a month or more from to have the time to make it all the way there. I went ot Co for the first time last your 1 month after getting my truck. It was great and I will make many more trips to see more of it. I have been all over Utah, Lived there for a few years as a kid and my family camped all over it. Its where my love for camping started. I spent 2 days in Moab after Co last year and will also go back and spend more time now that i'm not a little kid(moved to cali from there in 4th grade) and have a truck to really explore more. Just 2 days scared me in my stock truck when I dented a step but its almost protected enough to really hit some trails now!

Colorado is pretty cool. We did a week long trip there many years ago. Mostly off road. All I remember was black bear pass and that whole trail then ending in ouray. Really fun

Nice, I made it to Ouray on my trip. I didnt hit many trails or stay long when I was there because it was my first time out camping in 15+ yrs and I quickly realized my old gear was no longer good enough for the temps. I've upgraded my gear so I can stay warm now and will probably make a couple trips a yr. I can get to SE Co in under 12 hrs so thats an easy day in the truck for me.

You ain't missing much, the Bay is a place where dreams go to die, and even the pastiest of pretentious overweight chicks wont talk to you, and if they do, all they want to talk about is their shitty meaningless job, and how important it is to them.

This thing is bad ass. Did the +3.5 move the front forwards at all. I heard that most kits push the axles forward about an inch.

When are you ordering the dirty sevens :bananadance:

Im trying to figure it out, but how much additional height was in the rear after the install? Im getting about 2 inches above stock on my TC SUA, but it looks so low because I havnt gone to glass yet. I cant figure out if yours is the same, but do the bedsides make it seem like much more?

As far as my fronts, they took a good 4-6 weeks to really break in unlike the OEM coils that are pretty much the same out the get go. Initially I cranked my fronts all the way up to remove all preload for a soft ride at 2.25" above stock ride height. After about two months I decided I was too low and tried to crank them up back to the original 3 inches of height. Things felt nice and plush at that point. Granted having skids on the bottom do help to soften them up too.

It might have but not much. I still rubbed the same pretty much. Definitely not an inch.

However once I put on the tc alignment tabs and guessed on the alighnment my tires don't rub anymore.

It's a few inches lower than my spring over kit. The bedsides definitely make it look more open/taller. If you want I can measure from the axle tube to the frame. Then you can compare to yours. That should be a safe measurement.

I'll give it some time. I can say removing a few turns of preload in the front and setting the compression to zero made a good difference. Until my better u bolts get here I'm a little nervous to drive it hard.

I'm going to wait a bit, get it all loaded and broken in then measure again. He has a shorter shackle that will give me an inch of lift.

Do you have bypasses in the rear or just normal shocks? I know it's not universal but I'm curious what adjustments others are running. Mine just a complete guess right now.

Sounds good man I would appreciate any references with the rear. Unfortunately I just got some smoothie 12s on mine at the moment. Gonna go for a real LT pack sometime this year and then piece the shocks through the bed after.

Okay finally! From the frame to axle tube is 9.5".

I just ordered some shorter shackles so it'll go up an inch as soon as those show up.

Also this picture doesn't do them justice. But I swapped out my super thin u bolts for some bigger ones. Now I can drive it normally.

    And lastly.

Finally got the truck inspected after the move. I was really nervous about the tint. But I rolled the windows down and she didn't ask to roll them up.

I started sweating when she couldn't read the vin through the windshield tint. But she figured it out eventually and never thought the windshield was tinted.

Dude that's funny, didn't know you could legally tint the windshield anywhere. LIKE A BOSS.
