Oh that's good to know. This stuff does get pretty floppy over a foot in length. Mine is okay since the rtt rails sit pretty close to the edge.

If it doesn't work I'll have to build one out of square steel tubing or something.

Notice your truck driving any differently since he snorkel? Any changes in engine sound? Any difference in mpg?

    Thanks

Nope. Nothing changed at all. Or at least not noticeable. But 1-2 mpg I wouldn't notice.

I think it took a week or so for mine. How wide do they have for yours?

Im just going 4 inches since Im just a 3.5 front and standard SUA in the rear. I am planning to upgrade to the camburg LT pack at the end of the year though.

Good call. I really wish they made 4" ones for mine. If they ever do I'm switching.

Im surprised that they don't make 4" for yours. Did you paint yours before getting them fitted? I heard that Mcneil does a pretty good job about not needing much sanding for the taillights to fit.

I drilled the holes on the marks. Maybe one size bigger. That's it. I didn't test fit anything. Drilled and had them painted.

There were a couple spots I had to trim but they were all hidden so it didn't matter. I came up with a pretty good way to mount them up behind the tail light. Once your tail lights are out post a pic and I'll draw on it what I did. Came out really well. Since that behind the taillight bracket thing didn't fit the best.

Don't make me start looking at bigger tires.

But I wonder if I could fit 37's. I do want to swap to all terrains.

I don't think they make those in a 16 anyway.

I had them prior to the 35's and liked them. I guess the compound is a little hard (60k warranty). They aren't super heavy either I don't think.

The only way I'll go to 37's is if it's a silent a/t. I hate my current tires. My commute is too long. They are loud and bumpy. :)

Are you buying contingent on selling?

I don't know. Maybe. I'm justifying it by my longish commute with mud tires.

So right now yeah. I don't want to store a set of wheels and tires if I get new. But I have bad habit of buying hoping to sell later. :)
