Hello all Ye knowledgeable Taco Enthusiasts, looking to get a mild lift to clear my new wheels and tires. I went up to 17" wheels and 265/75/17 Falken tires and now I have some scrubbing. My question is: Are adjustable control arms necessary with a 2.5-3" lift??? Some kits include them and some don't, so I'm not sure if they're needed or not. Feel free to chime in, all you guys with this size lift and let me know what you would suggest.
My truck is a 2013 dcsb with 128,+++ miles on it so I figure it's about time for an almost full suspension upgrade. I guess I'll get them if you guys think they are necessary.
Thanks for your input in advance!

Are they needed for a 2.5" lift? No not really. Do they help with alignment, yeah they do. Your factory control arms are probably pretty warn out by now so might not be a bad idea. But ultimately those 32" tires should be okay without them.

You make a good point that it would probably be a good idea to go ahead and spring for them since I am wanting to upgrade the whole suspension system.
    Thanks for your input!
