I like to drive with the headlights on in the daytime. When I switch from running lights to headlights the screen in the center of the console dims. Is there a way to adjust it to the same brightness as the DRL position?

Don't have exact steps in front of me, but look for "daytime mode" I believe.

sort of related but useful, you can turn the trip meter button and it will adjust the brightness of the console lights.

Turn on the lights and then go to settings. Turn the display up to where you want it.

So there is no way to keep the screen at the same brightness when switching from daytime running lights to headlights?

Yes. Set them the same. You adjust the "lights off" and the "lights on" separately. If you set your "lights on" all the way up, they will match your "lights off" setting.

See page 41 in the Media manual. You can select "Day Mode" with the light switch on.
