I have the Toytec Boss lift on my 08 Sport. In the rear I have the progressive aal and used the factory overload. I ended up with a rake where the front is lower and I am wanting to raise the front a bit. When I bought the truck used it was on blocks so I never got a stock ride height measurement.
I'm wondering how high I can adjust the Coilovers before it puts a strain on the CVs? I've ordered some reman CV from CVJ so I'll be putting those in at the same time. I'm just not sure how far I can go?? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Thanks for the reply Kyle. When I bought my truck it had a leveling block kit but I got rid of the blocks and put in a full suspension lift.

On my Access Cab, brand new off the lot, the measurements with factory suspension from hub to bottom of fender were:
    LF 20.5....RF 21
    LR 21.5....RR 22

I'd shoot for 23"-23.5" in the front to keep your CV's happy. Did you get aftermarket UCAS?
Get everything adjusted to the height you want, then get an alignment.

Thanks! What year is your truck? Yes I got the Light Racing UCAs and plan on getting it aligned after adjusting.

Gotcha I think we're talking about different things. When I refer to "leveling" I'm referencing a leveling kit which is a cheap lift that levels the front to gain some height.
I installed a 3" suspension lift but the front is sitting lower than I want and I'm trying to rectify that. So I am not trying to return to stock ride height if that is what you were thinking. Thanks again.

When you get it aligned tell them you want 0 toe, 0 camber, and as much caster as they can get.. 2.5*-3.0* is good. That will move the wheels forward a bit and help clear your 33s.

I have the same lift on my 98. Front anyways. Bought it with the AAL in the back. I measured my hub to fender height and I get this. 22" approximately in front. I have a diff drop as well. I have Napa CV axles. They have wide spaced ribs and never touch. If I go up another 1/2 on the threads of my coilovers it rides pretty stiff. Rides perfect right now. A little rake to it but oh well

Thanks man. Did you adjust the Coilovers at all or did you leave them how they came?

    No worries Kevan good luck.

Just curious, what do you think of the ride quality from those toytec coilovers?

Oh man, adjust I did. A couple times. There are three rings on the 5100 shocks. I contacted toytec and they recommended to leave the c clip on the bottom ring for maximum shock performance. So I did that. I had to assemble them and buy stock strut top cap and some rubber bushings. I have 32" tires so I need a little lift to clear the tires. I like the ride quality a lot. Now if I could get the rear end to ride as nice...

Best way to adjust is take wheels off. Jack up first of course. Let the suspension fully sag down. You will need to use both spanner wrenches from toytec. You'll have to use some ingenuity to figure that out. If

I really like them a lot. I don't really have much to compare it to since it's my first lifted truck but the ride is great on and off road.

I have about 1-13/16" of thread showing. Measures 23" from center of hub to fender. Rides and sits nice.
