First off, yes I know what a search bar is and yes, I used it. Here are some examples of links I found using the search bar:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/closed-ads-group-buy.475653/

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nj-b-s-thread.274779/page-2995#post-16465314

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...ocks-in-northern-states.500182/#post-15566266

Other threads included people that live in Florida or Arizona; not what I am looking for.

Here are two posts that stood out to me the most and somewhat answered my question:

    AND

My question to those that have been running ADS shocks and are above or in the rust belt, how have they held up to winters, salt and the abuse and punishment that we take? Stories, pictures, mishaps and misfortunes with other brand coilovers that perhaps prompted the switch to ADS coilovers are all welcomed!

    Email from Headstrong:

ADS utilizes similar components in their OE lines as they do their race lines so that is a nice benefit. ADS comes standard as a standard travel (they can be built at extended travel) and a reservoir and have optional compression adjustors. The come built with a 650 lb spring rate but can be built with a 700lb spring rate at no extra charge. They have steel body and aluminum components. From the feedback I do have from people who have run a variety of these coilovers most feel like these stood up to road salts better than some of the other brands listed. I cannot personally speak directly to this since I am not located in an area that contends with salt but people seem to like the ADS’s coating better than others. Their OEM bolt in Tacoma coil-overs are digressively valved on the rebound side and run progressive valving on the compression. The main reason for this is to give you the stable ride for on road and less of the harshness when traveling off-road. They come preset to provide around 2.5" of lift on the 05-15's and around 1.5" on the 2016+ models. They can be adjusted to provide more or less lift depending on what suits your needs. Keep in mind, whenever adjusting a coilover you need to make sure that they are not adjusted to a point that will cause coil bind on compression.

All I can say is...My buddy has a full ADS setup with Resis and the truck rides like a dream.

The same bumps that cause my truck to sound like the dash is going to explode....his truck literally floats over.

Interesting. I have heard the opposite about Fox shocks.

I have ADS and live on the Florida coast where rust is common. No rust issues at all. I’ve had King, Icon, and Fox and they all rusted.

Just ran across this and hope the input helps. I live around St Louis and have had ADS for two winters. They look brand new still. Never used fluidfilm or anything like it. Everyone else does in the group and still has some form of rust issues. I'd have to look back for the exact info but ADS used a specific coating on theirs. The Fox 2.0 have less rust issues vs the Fox 2.5 steel. OEM, Blistein, Icons.... they all have rust problems in my area. ADS so far is holding strong fighting off rust. I have zero complaints about them.
