Yup. My truck is fat. Full plate bumper, winch, sliders, skids, roof rack, camper shell, fat drawer system. Haven’t weighed it but I’m sure fully loaded I’m around 6k. The 700’s feel great for my setup on and off road. Just wish the rebound was a hair slower at times on that trip.

I wouldn’t say it was harsh, just a touch faster than I wanted at points. But it’s really splitting hairs. On and off road these are great. In fact with my new 285/75r17 the ride is even better.

I scaled at 5960lbs the other day with driver (I’m 220lbs). I had nothing in my bed, just my heavy AF rear high clearance bumper with fully loaded swing out (35” spare and 5gal jerry can that’s full).

Is that too out spring just a spring that replaces the travel spacer? I say “just” as I’m sure there is more to it than just a spring lol

I think the thing about my valving is it's super stiff on the street. When I'm offroad pushing like 50-60 on rutted roads it feels oh so good but on a pot hole it's hella stiff. And of course when I start hitting whoops I out ride their capabilities almost immediately but that's expected.

I specifically asked for valving that can take a beating going fast, but I wasn't sure if it got adjusted for slower speed stuff if that will take away from the fast performance.

Oh I plan on it Tim! I'll likely have you add the compression adjusters too when it's time to rebuild. Though the rears will likely get rebuilt with those added first, especially since I will likely get airbags out back.

I bet pricing will be similar if you have to replace the entire resi can on the ADS.

Not sure what you are asking...when I chatted with ADS they incorporated some sort of internal jounce/top-out system that is suppose to ride much better

Supposedly mine has it. 45 degree fittings on the resi's with clickers. The top out is still a pretty good thud. If that's the improved version then it must have knocked fillings out before.

Yah...I’m not sure I even need it because I don’t really have top out issues with only 1.5” of lift. Thought I would do it to have the latest and greatest

Good to know and to keep in mind. Look like about $300 a piece? But will I get crucified for running Fox products on an ADS shock!?

    It's a $600 kit from Fox.

I haven't priced out the ads parts; if just the resi inlet, probably $125-150 each.

I build frankenshocks all the time! Kings with fox resi, fox with king shaft bumps, ads with both, icon with king adjustable resi's.

I don’t know, I’m asking about what you are referencing too when you talk about the top out stuff.

I thought I saw a Fox coilover where they put a spring (and other stuff) inside the coilover that the piston/valve assembly hit when going into full bump or full droop. I never saw it together so I don’t know which and I don’t know how big the spring and assembly were inside.
Just trying to learn a little here.
