Oh yeah. I know. But headstrong only had the 600lb coils in stock. For now. Otherwise I would have bought the700. I went with them because I had a 5100 kit front and rear. Im home on leave and got new 285s. Wanted them to fit after the lift, cmc and some remolding of pkatics with heatgun

I can understand 700# springs for increased weight like what was described above, but 700# on this type of shock is oversprung for an otherwise stock weight vehicle. This is why @AccuTune Offroad heavily suggests going for a lighter option spring (if choosing between say 600 and 700#) that will still suffice for the weight of a particular setup.

@vorkuta775, Headstrong had 600# setups in stock? I only thought they stocked 650 or 700#.

No. They have 600,650 and 700. They only had 600s in stock.

Interesting. I only had the option of 650 or 700, so they must have been out of 600#. I felt the 650 best met my needs anyhow.

yes, I first emailed them asking if the front and rear ads kit with clickers was in stock, thet informed me that the front were only in stock. so I decided to order that for now until the others are in stock. Either way if I go to the 650 spring I will have to re-adjust everything again. I will use some tools tomorrow , adjust 1inch of threads which will give me around 1.5 inches of lift. I just want to go back to where I was initially before it settled, it was the right height and I didnt get to measure it. my mistake

I can't even imagine what shipping is like. They are probably 70-100$ easily because of the weight

but the stock coil on a TRD OR is 700# and although accutune is awesome I don’t think they are aware there is a drastic weight difference in the 2nd and 3rd gen front end. 650-700# is ideal for the 3rd gen running front end weight, this also depends greatly on 13” vs 14” coil

So. Went up roughly 1/2 inch on the adjustment total of 12 threads showing now. Def use wd40. Lube it well, I used a allen key to loosen the retaining nut that locks them into place. Bought a 5/16 center punch and went to work. Wd40 sat for 2-5 mins before I starting cranking and had no issues at all. Each side is 36.5 inches from the ground tobthe fender flare. I have a 800 mike road trip ahead of me next weekend and I will see how much it changes . Might end up going to a 650 or 700 depending on what this new cbi bumper does to the front end.
