If you spend a little time on it before they get mounted, it’s worth it. Add zercs to new OEM shackles ($25+\-) and get those mounted when you do the leafs.

@AccuTune Offroad have you considered being an ADS dealer? What are your thoughts on them? Just curious

Unless we had a significant profit margin, there is no interest at the moment. ADS is very similar to King, but King has the branding that everyone wants. Nothing against ADS, but bringing in another shock line is much more complicated than it sounds, especially for what we offer.

Yeah and with ADS premium shocks come the premium inventory costs, makes perfect sense. ADS being far less well known than Kang kills that deal instantly, wouldn't sell enough inventory regardless of profit margin to make it financially intelligent.

Mayyybbeeee. But the last time headstrong did a group buy of Kings vs ADS, ADS outpaced the Kings by about 2:1. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/closed-ads-vs-king-group-buy.634937/ But I'm sure the forum world vs. the rest of the world is a very different thing.

I definitely respect a business that commits to not spreading themselves too thin and focusing on doing what they do well. Being based in SoCal, I'm not surprised that most of their customers want Kings or Fox ;)

Yup, you said it. Marketing a sale to TW enthusiasts versus the nation wide clientele is definitely apples to oranges. But lucky for us, ADS is still going strong and producing a top quality product. Lead times are vastly superior to that of king products at the moment as well.

Not surprised given the success of their product line and dealer expansion.

I’m definitely happy with my dealings with ADS so far. Received a 3-5 week lead time estimate for custom shocks versus 3-5 month lead time from King or Fox. The lead time difference is amazing if it holds true.

Yeah I’m at the 3 week mark now, so I expect to receive an invoice soon. Still waiting on my shock relocate to arrive, so no rush.

Already love my front coilovers from them.
Direct. Figured it would be easier that way.

you probably paid more like me. It’s cheaper to go thru HS. My fronts were $1900 direct
