Yep. But I’d say they were expensive bumps if they were two tube or single free bleeds.

these got really complicated and thanks to Tyler at ads, they looked at the kings that baja kit uses and found the tubes weren’t being used or passed. So they designed a 4 tube that was a different length and coilover that was a different length.
So now we have more travel in the same space and way more position related control.

    Whole lotta stuff
Those look great. Glad to hear of your positive experience working with Tyler at ADS. Gotta give them props for pursuing performance rather than a stand-alone sale. Can't wait to see all the equipment being put to use.

Me too! I steer anyone I can their way. I wish they would make their website better. People think that if it isn’t there then it doesn’t exist.

but yea! I can’t wait to get the suspension installed. I have to cut some bumps off and weld on the bypass mounts and droop strap mounts.

I’m waiting for some rcv axles too. They are supposed to ship monday. So we shall see...

Just installed my 2.5 ext travel with 700# coils. Had Bilstein 5100s on stock springs. Qualiity is top-notch. Super fast shipping. Was told 3-5 weeks and got them in 2. King and Fox were saying 30+ weeks for a set of theirs. Ordered through Headstrong Offroad. Highly recommended.

Nice. Looks good and you are lucky. I ordered my full set of stage 3's on March 2 and no one seems to know when they might be expected to ship.

Have fun with those bad boys - I am sure they are going to be a noticeable and worthy upgrade

Ok so. Have the ads resis with clickers. Swapped to 700lb coils. Broke in spring and rides great. My issue is front sag.im running cbi adventure bumper. Agm gp31, winch. Lightbar. Hence why I went to 700lb springs. I'm currently sitting at 15 thread count each side. Am I doing something wrong or keep going?sitting 22 inches from center oh hub cap to fender.

Standard 700# 14inch springs? If so, dont set your preload unladen to less than 11 3/4" measured spring length. Otherwise adjust to your hearts content for where you want to sit.

My front end is completely stock and I believe I'm sitting at 22.5" on 650lb coils.

yes standard eibach 700lb springs from HS offroad. I will measure the spring today. Maybe I am just being over worried since I do not want to ruin them by cranking too much. 15 thread count each side seems like alot but again I have alot of weight up front as well.

Don’t go by thread count. Measure your springs length and go off that. Combined with your total shock length and compressed length.
AccuTune has good articles explaining all this better than I can. With measure points and more on setting your preload to what you want.
thread count is meaningless. Because if someone has extended travel vs standard and different rate springs. Trucks each weigh different and more.

About 9 months ago I purchased a set of ADS CO with resis and compression clickers. These shocks are amazing and by far the best shock I have ever run. Unfortunately, the resi hose configuration they came with exposed that hose to rubbing from the 285/75-16 tire in tight turns and trail conditions.

    Before:

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. I took the truck to Matt at MCM Fab in Las Vegas where I had made the original purchase. Matt completely disassembled the shocks and fitted brand new hoses, with the correct configuration. And did not charge me a dime for his 3 hours of efforts.

    After:

We both agreed that this is how they should have come originally from ADS and he assures me that his findings will be passed along to ADS so all CO w/clickers intended for 1st gens will be configured this way going forward.

I want to give a big shout out of thanks to Matt. He took care of me and made it right.

I'd be interested if the tire rubs the resi now. I for sure know my 35's would rub, that's why I did this, and even it's still not perfect.

[IMG]Untitled by Michael Halat, on Flickr

If the hose was a half inch shorter it would be perfect. Def need to figure out what needs to change when I upgrade to clickers.

Looks like a zip tie for dual battery or winch wiring for that disconnect.

Looks like the hose wasn't the only thing you were rubbing on.

I noticed you have limit straps on what appears to be stock length lowers. Judging by your pre-load, were you experiencing top-out?

The zip tie? It's holding those 2 ga cables that go to a power cut off switch for the winch.

The resi itself is fine with my my wheel configuration of 4" of backspacing. The issue was where the hose and associated fittings were placed. It is important to note that the clickers change the way the hose has to enter the resi which makes all the difference.

Yes, stock LCAs. The straps are there to take the load off of the coilbuckets. I've had one fail in the past. Not a fun fix.
