I have something that may seem obvious, but I thought I would ask anyways. The only reason I can think of this would happen is the slight amount of preload difference from each side.

When I jack up the truck in the center front jack spot the driver side tire will leave the ground sooner than the passenger. There is about 1/8-1-4” more threads showing on the driver side. Does this just mean the passenger side has more full droop due to less preload?

I figured this was the case, but I also wondered if somehow ADS gave me an extended length shock on the passenger side and not on the driver side. I imagine they wouldn’t do this, but thought I would check if this is normal…?

You're really looking too much into it. The truck isn't perfectly balanced side to side. If one was extended and the other not it would be pretty obvious. Don't worry about it. Set preload so truck is level

I agree with @Wyckedan . I would bet a lot of money that the jack point isn’t the center of mass of the front end. You could measure hub to fender when both wheels are off the ground to see if the extension is different but preload won’t affect max extension.

I've been enjoying the ADS coilovers on my 4Runner so much the past few months. They were definitely worth the wait! 9254DAA7-ACF0-4F04-8D40-1027A6EC3C7A.jpg

I know, I can't wait!!! Plus I'm putting on hammer hangers and Deaver U402s, so it should ride like a completely different truck.

With my 255's on 16" rims aired down to 15psi I can sail through desert corrugations, forest gravel roads loaded with 5"-6" pot holes, comfortably drive down rocky offroad trails.

What tires/rim size are you pairing with your new boing boings?

Going to go with 255/85r16s so I can continue using my Pro rims and also minimize rubbing and poke (although I'll need to add 1.25" spacers in the rear since I'm adding shock relocation towers for the 13" smoothies)

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
I dont think you will need 1.25, only because your tires arent as thick as my 315s.

I have a set of .75 bora spacers in my basement if you want to try those before you spend the money on 1.25s

The Bora spacers have like a 60 day lead time, so you will be able to beat that

I've got mileage in the post, but it's ~88K for the TL;DR crowd. ;)

Lots of happy miles in there, I go on a lot of trips...

Stellar job! If only I had the tools and the time. I will be sending mine back for a rebuild and coils swap maybe next year

Adjusted my fronts (ride height: added) and now i hear a weird noise is coming from the driver side i believe when i go over bumps and such. Double checked to make sure everything is tightened down. Any suggestions? Hard to describe the noise.

Check where your anti sway bar comes close to the coil spring. It's a tight fit in that area, so yours might be tapping each other.
