Adjusting them installed is easier I think. Just make sure and loosen that Allen first

NP. Hope you like the setup! Also keep in mind the 3rd gen does not like to be lifted more than about 2.25" up front. The front cv axle angles get upset and it can introduce unwanted vibrations and premature wear.

THIS! Loosen this before you even install on the vehicle. I believe its 6mm. Mine were on the inside of the truck and unable to access so I had to remove them from the truck just to loosen that set screw. Now I make sure to keep that facing out so I can get to it.

That’s good to know. I have installed the ECGS bushing to somewhat help with that, but I know the CV boots themselves can rub through themselves over time. I’ll make sure to keep an eye on everything.

    Really good note, thanks guys!

They don't come with the coilovers. I ended up ordering them after the fact, I think they were around $20 IIRC, well worth the cost IMO.

i run the same coil and with my lo-pro bumper and winch (140lbs), I get 1.5-1.75” of lift with 1” of threads showing.

Sounds like you basically want max lift so I would almost double it depending on your front weight.

I have an aluminum bumper with the winch so it comes out to about the same weight on the front end minus the skids. How is the ride quality?

Reason for wanting max lift is for the 35s I'm putting on later this month. Super stoked!

should ride nice, but give it 2000 miles to break in. You may want to consider a 2” maximum just to be nicer to your cv angles and have a better ride. Tire size and load category will also affect stiffness.

I think for my situation I should have done 650# ext coils

    Stuff and junk and things...
FYI lift amount doesn't help you clear big tires! Proper clearancing , BMC, wheel and tire specs are what matters more. What happens when hit a bump and stuff the tire? It still goes in the same path of travel within the wheel wheel no matter what the ride height is.

Yea, fitting 35s actually takes a bit of work. Unless you go full drop bracket style

Oh yeah, lots of stuff is happening in the mean time to accommodate 35s. Already have an appointment to weld on spindle and cam tab gussets as well as a cab mount relocate and pinch weld hammering/plastic trimming. Also have SPC UCAs to help with alignment. These coilovers will be the last piece of the puzzle besides the 35s themselves:taco:

Very nice. Here's some ADS sexiness in the rear I just put on a couple weeks ago

Great setup. Is that their 2.125 body?

Cool. Lol, for some reason that photo makes the 2.5 in the back look small. But then again I’m used to the bypass being in there.

It does look a little lonely there by itself lol. You don't really realize what it can do until you see it flexed out and then you're like "holy s**t!"

I agree. Unfortunately I’m going to be ditching the AG mount soon to go SUA, but it is still a great setup for crawling and flexing out the rear. Had some good times with it.

We do a lot of rock crawling out here on the east coast so it should be a lot of fun. Just curious, why are you going to SUA?

Short answer: more bump travel, better geometry with leaf springs, better for higher speeds. I’m changing the truck to be more go-fast and drivable.
