What do you have in the back add a leaf or a leaf package?

I'm not sure what you're asking. I have the Dakars without the additional add a leaf added to them. They randomly come in -, 0 and +. I think the 0 is at standard spec and plus or minus is above or below spec. I had two pluses.

Day one after installation and they are awesome! They are matched perfectly with the Dakars20170523_094006.jpg 20170523_100009.jpg 20170523_102517.jpg 20170523_131819.jpg and 700lbs springs up front.

There is two different Dakars leaf packages light weight or heavy weight. The heavy weight has one extra leaf for heavier weight..

I am dead set on getting ADS, before summer is up. My biggest question is........do ya'll recommend getting the adjustment knobs, or not? I have never had an adjustable shovm set-up before. Thanks.

If your budget allows you to do so go with adjusters I kind of regret not getting them. But you can always add them later on if you need to

I think that's for the new leaf packs that they just came out with. I have the old style and it's the reason I put teflon liners in them. The old style was just the Dakar pack and they had a aal you could put on if you hauled consistently. I bought them 2 to 3 months ago right before the new style was available. I have no complaints with what I have.

Yeah. I want to save that money, if I don't need the adjustors. I am going to use it as a DD......I don't know any better, as to if I need them or not.

It all depends on your application and how deep your wallet is. I don't do high speed trails and think that's where the adjustable setup would really shine. When you buy them ADS has a questionnaire you have to fill out describing all of your needs. They are custom valved to your specific application. It's awesome! Oh, Headstrong is absolutely awesome. They are working with ADS on a proprietary shock for the Dakars. That's what I got and couldn't be happier.

I opted to save the money too. Don't get me wrong though I love my set up w/out adjusters still a very comfortable ride on and off road. Can't go wrong with either set up

I've ramped a couple railroad tracks, and have to say I'm super impressed with these things ability to dampen. In my very minimalistic time with these shocks I think when going over a bump there is that initial kick, but there's absolutely no risiduel wobble or instability like with the stock billys.

My aal and front/rear took 10 hours by myself with a few beer breaks.

    Aal definitely took the longest.
