Yes that have a cart and a secure check out .
Im having hard to get things going with them I have talk to here once she was nice and helpful with the information I needed. I have emailed them to call me back to order them no response. I got a hold of someone today on the phone I tried to place an order but he just said that Marie would email me back. I herd lots of good things about them. but dam. You would think when someone calls to spend $3000 they would take your order.

Customer service is shit now a days. No one gives a fuck about people anymore. Just give me money and/or fuck off. When i emailed her about specific questions she just gave me generic info I already knew and could get on TW. There are pleanty of companies out there to compete with.

@Downsouth Motorsports will happily take your order over the phone. All orders are dropshipped from ADS anyway so it's all about price and customer service.

ordered mine from headstrong.. great price. as others mentioned, all drop shipped. Look for the best price, and customer service.

ADS replied to some questions i had.. usually within a hour or 2 via email, during business hours.

Ordered Wheels/Tires and ADS Suspension back on 2/27 from Headstrong. Just waiting on the wheels now. But need the tires on the truck now as my tires are done. Marie was super helpful and placed the order once my check cleared. Email response was fairly quick.

So, I'm feeling overwhelmed by just how much I have yet to learn about how to design a suspension overhaul on my first gen. I feel good about the fronts since ADS makes the bolt in ones, and there are kits out there if I wanted to do the LT version.

The rear is really throwing me for a loop though. I'm curious to see what other 1st gen tacoma owners have done.

I've been planning on getting the ADS 10" smooth body shock with resi and clicker for the rear. The collapsed length makes it seem unlikely to fit under the bed while retaining optimal geometry. Looking into doing one of the relocates into the wheel well, but I'm seeing issues with the shock body getting in the way of the tires when flexing. Yeah, spacers and/or aggressively offset wheels can help. But then I'm also trying to figure out if I can get leafs that match the shocks for compression/extension based on the wheel well mounting location limitations.

Anyone have any pics of something like this?

I have ads coilovers in the front, but decided to go with kings in the rear. In the 2.5"x10" you can get the Kings over 2" shorter, and they're quite a bit cheaper. The length makes it much easier to fit under the bed.

IMO too many issues to make outboarding shocks on a 1st gen worth it without a wider axle.

Hoping to pick up a 1st Gen in the summer time from a buddy and I know nothing about the suspension on those. I have ADS all around on my 3rd Gen and love the setup.

Does anyone not understand that Headatrong is a SMALL business and they actually offer superb customer service.. the best I’ve had in this industry. Marie runs a one man show and if you guys give her time, she will respond to you in the order that you messaged or called her. Emailing her and messaging on TW is probably the best way, but be patient... it’s worth the wait.

mine is for a 4runner. was originally quoted 4 weeks.. took 8.
was told it was due to the front reservoir brackets.. looks like they got a icon bracket and traced it.. got a hand made bracket.

This is a good problem to have. Which top tier suspension should I install? Haha

If you want good customer service just don't go with MCM Fab in Vegas

might be some truth in there.

BUT... They fabricate the all brackets for ADS? My 4runner bracket.. that delayed my order, was shipped direct from MCM to me. 8 weeks... Rough cut metal, looks like it was nibbled all around.

Thank you for this. We do what we can to provide the best customer service possible while supporting such a large forum. We do stock ADS but with anything it comes down to supply and demand so sometimes we do have to have them drop ship products. Which then makes that part subject to their lead times. What I think gets overlooked is that parts like ADS, King, Icon, Camburg, etc used to be custom built products. These were something that you had to have fabricated and/or custom built based on our overall needs/wants. Thus lead times could be indefinite and based on the work load and supply of the company at the time the order placed. I hear stories about people waiting for a year to get custom shocks back in the day. Now however in our "prime based society" waiting more then a couple of days seems absurd to most people.

With that said I know that these companies do what they can to stock and house their products and mass produces these parts but there is a process and things can take time. Not to mention money. I know that they are larger companies so people can often overlook how much money they have to play with but if we put it into some sort of perspective. Say one coilover unit cost them 1k to produce (on average) could you imagine the money that they would have out to stock an ample supply of products for every truck and configuration that they make parts for. They could easily rack up millions of dollars in inventory costs. The same is true for companies like ours. Though we do our best to stock every single part in every possible configuration and only really stock parts for Tacoma and some Tundra and 4Runner could you imagine how much money just sits on the shelves waiting for people to buy. And isn't it always Murphy's law that the one thing you are out of everyone wants.

For me, whether it is personally or business wise, I try to look at the whole big picture. And somethings are worth waiting for and life is not one big fast food drive thru window.
