This is exactly what I did to keep mine from looking like yours. I'll see if I have a picture to post, if not I'll take one when I get home tonight.

    Edit: Here's a picture....not the greatest but you'll get the idea.IMG_4969.jpg

Here is the best I could do on my driver side.

I just can't get the smooth looping in your pic.

I think one difference is that the hose just doesn't attach to my reservoir at the same angle as yours:

You have to loosen the nut slightly at the reservoir and turn it. Mine came the same way as your picture and we ran into the same problem you're having. You don't have to loosen it very much to move it to where you need it.

Is there a downside to just leaving it as I have it? I'm thinking about just leaving it as is.

For funsies tho... this is with a 650# spring up front and the medium load dakars. LOVE my ADS ext resis.. I felt like a irresponsuible college kid with how fast i could drive on the FS roads i was on this weekend.

Question for anyone not running a sway bar, do y'all meet full extension on your coilovers often? No problems going fast but as soon as i slowed down, every larger extension i would hear a loud thud, has to be the coilover over extending, everything else in there is tight.

The coilovers make quite the noise when they top out really quick. Ran mine for a couple years with lots of topping out and no issues. Probably not a huge deal if you're not topping them out too frequently.

I now have limit straps, which alleviate that issue.

I just updated my 2013 Tacoma to Camburg Upper Control with ADS Coil Over remote res system. New Tires and alignment and my car is like new! I swapped out a Toytec system and Total Chaos UCA's. Love it. ADS= Great

Didn’t the ADS engineers come from King?

Kinda like how Ferrucio Lamborghini used to work with Enzo Ferrari, but hated Ferrari clutches which is why he started his own company...

No, ADS has been a Machine Shop in Tucson since 1986. They have nothing to do with King.

I have no idea. I stumbled upon ADS (here on TacomaWorld) I had a Toytec Boss Lift that literally lasted 30k miles and turned to shit. I called Toytec and their customer service was a so poor that I had to look for a new solution. I looked around on the internet /read the forums extensively about King, Fox, Icon, and ADS. After speaking with Brian at ADS I bought in. My truck looks amazing and rides amazing now. I have done a few 3 to 5 hour road trips and also taken it off road a few times. It seriously is like a new truck with this system. Nothing but positive things to say here about ADS.

How is it on the street? Any pics? How much lift? Setup?

Reason I ask is because ADS extended travel with clicker resis will be my first choice in front shocks (then Fox) when I use up my Emus

Ditched the resi brackets and mounted them to the frame with some custom mounts behind them and the pic doesn't show the other hose clamp. Needed the longer hoses for this style of mounting so perfect. Zero options for a sway bar so no biggie!:D

So, I contacted ADS today and it was interesting. I called them and their support person said the "S" shape was fine, but suggested I write them. I did and the person that responded to that told me that it wasn't-it would could cause internal binding or something like that over time-and that my hose wasn't attached to my reservoir quite correctly.

I'm not going to lie: I am kind of annoyed by that. They should ship correctly and, barring that, there should have been some kind of directions addressing this (there were no instructions whatsoever with the shocks). But anyway, we made an adjustment and here it is:

Tomorrow I am having a little adjustment to my suspension done. My 265/75/16 Ridge Grapplers are rubbing a little when I turn sharply in reverse. I think a castor adjustment should do it.

My truck is great on the street and excellent off road.
Like mentioned a few road trips and some off road in the Reno /Tahoe area.

What adjustment did you do? Do the hoses still rub on the coils?

That's what I run (plus full Dakar leaf pack on the rear) and I love it, very smooth on the street.
