Good deal on M1. Just changed the oil on both vehicles tonight...Royal Purple though...

 

I tried to find this deal on their website and couldn't, so I called my local Advance and asked. They said that there's a special on a 4-quart jug of M1 for $21.99 without a filter included.

I'm going to take the AutoZone ad in and see if they'll match, but will head over to AutoZone if they don't.

I ended up losing patience and went to AutoZone during my lunch break and took advantage of their deal. Per the receipt, I saved $25 (b/c the filters were free).

Ran out to Advance Auto and bought a jug of Mobil 1 5w20 and did an oil change, great. Until I realized the jug Advance sells is 4 quarts. Now I needed another quart to top it off. Well Wal-mart is the closest to me but I hate shopping there but since I'm in a bit of a jam I sucked it up and went over to Wal-mart. I was in for a surprise, there regular price for a 5 quart jug 0f Mobil 1 5w20 is $23.50 (4.70 qt) versus Advance sale price $21.99 4 quart jug (5.50 qt). Well I'm still not convinced to do all my shopping at Wal-mart, maybe I'll sneak over for the Mobil 1.

 

Walmart has great prices on oil... Sams is even better, if they have it in stock. (Mobile 1 is hit and miss around here.)

I get my filters from a dealership on ebay, but Sams/Walmart is my source for oil
