I am getting ready to order my wheel and tire combo.

I am going with this wheel

    http://www.wheelpros.com/browse.asp...17&desc=one piece aluminum painted&section=DI

    17x10
    -12 offset
    5.03 backspacing

    tires- firestone destination a/t

my question is what would my advantages and disadvantages of going with a 285/70/17 as oppose to going with a 265/75/17.Do eathier one of them support a larger width wheel or are they the same.

    Thanks a bunch guys

Don't take my word as scripture, but I do believe that a 10 inch wide wheel is too big for a 265 and 285. I think the max for a 285 is 9.5
