Yeah, I see this white paint flaking thing talked about a lot here, but I have yet to see one in the wild with this problem and my 19 white OR Taco is not flaking off anywhere. I'm not saying this white paint issue did / does not occur but I am not sure it is as prevalent as portrayed here on TW. Kind of like the tranny gear hunting thing I guess as we are lead to believe every 3rd Gen gearbox on the planet suffers from it and that is just not true.

PS: one thing that is universally true for any car or truck; black paint looks fantastic when freshly clean, but quickly starts to look like shit once you drive it! Black paint shows dirt and grime like nobody's business. I drove a black BMW 3 series and had to constantly clean it! Fun car though.

Idk about best color, but it's great for not showing dirt. I can't even post some of the remarks these punks have made on the quicksand color my truck has.

Even a regular wax twice a year would help.

Are you on the body business? That’s like telling a heart surgeon he’s exaggerating about heart disease.
I have between 30-60 cars a month roll thru my shop so I do see all the bad ones.
Get some painters tape and stick it around the window frames on the doors, along the top edges of the fenders, wait a few hours and pull it off. If no paint comes off you got one of the good ones.

Mine's black... Worst color ever. I might even prefer a white one with flaking paint. (Got a van with that problem) I've been wanting to paint mine since day one.

All joking aside white looks good, but some have issues not all of them.

It’s not even a quantifying statement though. “All the time” here would mean frequently or consistently. It does not mean all (and every) trucks he sees…which would be a quantifying statement

Then try to use "most of the times", "sometimes", etc.

    enjoy em all!!!!

the 2013 white held up well for I,
but the white painted rear bumper was terrible, and for some reason the door sil under the plastic got bad on driver side, water was getting in somewhere, most likely from windshield replacement
