So I've had the radiant red in the 2nd gen, and an 02 4Runner in Sunfire pearl(?) and loved both vehicles.

The only thing I like enough to run decals for besides Tacoma stuff is Packers plates/decals.
My line of thinking just was that yellow would clash.
I have zero doubts that it is a panty dropper as described.
I have also never got to see that color in person so that might impact my decision as well.

Agreed on all counts - Lunar Rock Rocks! - AND I also had red cars in the past BUT clearly ticketed most in my white car. - I actually do not recall getting a ticket in my red car, now that I think about it...

"White cars actually get pulled over the most! Red comes in second, with gray and silver taking third and fourth place, respectively."

    https://valleycollision.com/blog/myth-busting-do-red-cars-get-pulled-over-more/

I also recall reading that black cars are more prone to accidents due to lack of contrast...

Yea the yellow inferno combo wouldn't look too good for sure.

I always decline rentals in white for that very reason. I have only gotten tickets in white rentals lol.

Idk about black cars more accident prone, but I can tell you for a fact, every time I owned a red toyota pickup I got pulled over for speeding more than once a day sometimes. Never got ticked for speeding in any other color. You could be going the same speed in a pack of several cars, but you're the one with the red vehicle to be singled out.
