I have started small first. Except for the Diamondback cover to be able to lock up my work stuff I keep in the back of the truck. I started with a set of Maxtrax recovery boards (group buy here so moved them up the want list) because we have lots of muddy forest roads here. Then saved up for a Viair 400P which I use around my moms farm too for the tractors and mowers. This month I ordered the ARB Speedy Seal II Tire Repair Kit. I already had the camping gear so decided to not invest in RTTs or anything like that for now until I do a few local in state trips to figure out what I absolutely need. I have a friend who bought a lot of things for her Jeep up front but forgot the basics like tire kits, air, and basic first aid stuff. I had all the basic tools in my old truck but need to pick up some more metric. As someone here said just get out there in the stock truck and see how things go. Next up for me will be a recovery strap. No winch but at least I will have one if there is someone else who can pull me out (thus the MaxTrax for if I am by myself). Doesn't do any good to have a $3000 RTT if you can't fix a flat or air up or down.

Extend your rear axle breather if you plan on dipping your rear axle below water . You don’t have to buy it all at once . Camping is a life long hobby . Share it with the people you want to spend time with.

cold air intake is actually what you dont want in an overlander.......also sounds like youre in debt and tight on money, just pay off the truck and get your finances right, only overlanding you should be doing is from your home to your job

    ^^^^^^ This!

Only mess with what is limiting you. You'll save lots of $$$ and not look like and IG model.
