4runners.com is slow and I like TW system over t4r.org so going to do my thread here.

Purchased my new to me 2010 Trail Edition 4x4 4runner in August 2018 from Carmax. Been saving up for awhile and saw this one in CO. Had it transferred down to NM for $100. Test drove it and bought it out right. Selling patches can get you places. Pretty cool because the guy who had it before me bought out right new too

Best part... Only 54,000 miles! Immaculate condition inside and out.

I like naming vehicles for the fun of it - so decided on Sirenia. What is Sirenia? Well it is the Order for sea cows (manatees and dugongs). I mean it is a big fat grey slow (since I drive in eco mode) thing so the name is fitting.

Goals for this vehicle is to not fuck with it too much like my prerunner tacoma. Spent too much money and added many things I did not need which lowered mpgs as a DD. Looked cool though so thats all that matters right?

Right now I can get a range of almost 500 miles per a tank with my best tank being 24.7 mpgs when going back and forth to my hunting unit

Now... wtf do I do with a 4x4 and crawl control?

Awesome 4R, good find/buy! The early 5th gen Trails are the best looking 4Runners ever built in my eyes. Coincidentally we were just having a conversation on T-4R about why they're so rare, and I think that's one of the reasons. I tried to buy a 2012 Shoreline Blue Trail but it got sold out from under me (had a deposit on it and everything); still wish it hadn't fallen through.

    Anyways...congrats on the new truck!
