If you don't have 285s and doubt you'll rub your windshield resi. As I never worried about it until I got 285s

Nope don't have 285s, and do not plan to.

But I mean who ever follows their plans of not upgrading

    Okay big moves happening.
Got the 4x4 transmission with J-shift tcase attached, along with a complete driveshaft.

Turns out i purchased the wrong diff, (stupid i know) So now i'm debating whether to sell the 3.73 diff and buy a 4.10 so that i can install everything and have a working 4x4.
OR just hold out a bit longer, install the tranny/tcase and wait till i can re gear both front and rear diffs to 4.88.

Next on the to do list is have the manual hubs cleaned/ rebuilt. Considering selling my Solo spindles to pay for their 4wd fabricated spindles... i just don't like stock spindles hahah. Anyone have gusseted 1st gen spindles? opinions? I'm all ears.

Unless you need 4x4 immediately, I would wait to regear. It will save you from having to pull the diff back out.

Also I doubt you would have a problem selling those spindles as long as they are cheaper than what solo charges. I don't think a lot of people know they exist.

yeah, I've been leaning that way too. I don't need 4x4 immediately. It's just gonna be a while till i can get both diffs re geared. But yeah these spindles are amazing, and yeah expensive as hell. I'll definitely sell lower than Solo's retail price

Huge thanks to @YumaTRD for letting us drop by and play with toys at his place. @YotaGurlIAm did an awesome job at knocking this project out and did most of the welding on her own. Major props! This think is stout and held almost 700 IBS of moving weight at the end.
