Advice and Knowledge Heads, Duals

Can someone with better knowledge than myself help me here. I am no motor head but I do understand the mechanics.

I want to do the following.
Upgrade
Headers
Exhaust to true duals

What exactly do I need to buy? I have an idea but I need specifics so I do not have surprises later. Buy headers short or long? Y tube is eliminated in favor of duals? Exhaust is user preference. Please advise.
What exactly will true duals do to my computer?
Will I have to have the computer reprogrammed to compensate for the flow?

 

I suppose the first question is why? Unless you are going to put a S/C on the truck any gains you will see in HP will be negligible at best. Seems like a lot of money to put into a mod that will not see much (if any) result.

 

Not sure about tacos but headers and straight piped exhsust will increase hp quite a bit.
