Hello TW! Long time lurker, first time poster.

Few months back I did the tweeter upgrade in my 2nd gen Tacoma. Purchased a set of ds18's and they sound great.
Since then, I've gone to Crutchfield and ordered some Kicker 46CSC654 6.5" speakers for the front and rear doors.

The question I have is when I did the tweeter upgrade I just wired the tweeters in using the existing factory speaker wires (I believe the ds18's have a built in passive crossover in them). Now that I'm swapping out all four door speakers, can I just wired in the door speakers to the factory wiring or would I need to install external passive crossovers so I don't have excessive high end sounds up front? And if I did use external passive crossovers, would those essentially cut out the high end from the kicker door speakers and keep the high end in the tweeters only?
I'm upgraded the head unit to a 7" double fine android auto with a mini amp behind the HU to give it a lil more power.

    TIA
