So I want to build some sliders. I have done the research and I feel good about my choices and such. What I don't understand is how one keeps from getting hung up on the cross attachment parts? I get that the main tube should be where you land, but the attachments to the frame and out to the second tube seem like a place to get hung up. How does it all work? Can you point me to information, videos etc that show how they work and the pit falls etc. thanks in advance

It's just something that happens from time to time don't over think it. It doesn't happen as much as you'd think and you can always back up reposition or worse case winch or get pulled off.
