Advice Needed - Damage remediation from genesis dual battery kit

has anyone cab mounted their batteries behind the seats? could that be a viable solution for this issue?

 

There isn't one. Stop drilling just relieves most of the stress concentrated at the end of a crack, but without reinforcement it does nothing to fix the problem. I didn't think anyone suggested only stop drilling without some measure to support the area that is cracked.

You should assume less.

 

sorry if this sounds dumb, but for my motorcycle, I can replace my 10 lb battery with a 1.4 lb lithium ion battery. I could have googled it, but I'm sure someone on here knows. Do they make a group 24 Lithium Ion battery that weighs a buttload less?
