20150826_182646.jpg New 2015 Taco TRD Sport owner. Love my new truck! Was ready to buy a GMC Sierra until I drove this baby, hands down a better vehicle for what I need. Problem is that I'm somewhat vertically challenged and older then I like...anyway, this truck is taller then my last one, a Dodge Dakota and I'm having trouble getting in and out. The dealer installed factory running boards yesterday. They look great, but functionally are useless. They're just too high and do not facilitate making it easier to climb in. So, I need something that's lower. I've seen nerf bars but I'm not sure my dog could use then, I think a solid running board is what I and my pooch need. Please, help!!! I need suggestions as I'm planning on going back to the dealer and seeing if they will remove these and either refund my money or get me something else.

    Thanks in advance!

Call up your local dealer and ask if they have any with the factory running boards you could look at and try out to see if you like them.

Thanks DrFunker! They may work. Sort of the best of both worlds, a running board and a step combined!
