advice needed for types of shocks

    i have a 2005 4x2 reg cab. i installed a fat bobs 2.5 inch spacer on the front end, now i want to change the shocks. i want to use bilsteins. does anybody know what size or model i should use?

    If you buy the bilstiens 5100 you could get rid of the spacers and have a better ride...

    With the 5100's you can still get up to 3 inches of lift.

    No you can keep stock coils.

    What is it you are trying to accomplish with your lift? Looks, off Roading? If do what type? Desert or rocks?

    5100 and stock coils will give you up to 3 inches.

    Get some toytec or OME coils.

    really? im hearing that i need to replace the coils also?
    wouldnt the stock coils be to short?

    Not from what I have seen... Cant gaurentee that though. But several are running stock coils and 5100's set at 2.5

    i bought the toytec ultimate 3" lift, installed it my self with one other person. i have the 5100's on front and rear. and i cant tell the diffrence in ride from factory. good thing!!! love them

    OP, do you have a 5 lug or 6 lug Tacoma? If you have a 5 lug, the 5100's won't work for you.

    Sorry man, check out the 5-lug section. All the options listed above are for 4x4 and Prerunners. Better to find out now though!
