Yeah thats a bit odd only getting the vibes in neutral and turning.. Based on your first post I tend to think drivetrain, and maybe the turning part is a just a coincidence. Low hanging fruit in the drivetrain would be carrier bearing and u-joints. Give all 3 rear u-joints a good shot of grease until you see it start to leak out. If that helps, probably your issue. If thats not it a carrier bearing is only ~$70-80 and may need to be replaced if its original.

The turning part makes me think front wheel bearing, although from what I have read on here thats usually more of a noise and less of a feeling. Also (again based on what I read here) front wheel bearings in these trucks can be shot but still pass the push/pull test, so keep that in mind.

That’s why I was thinking it’s not driveshaft related

FWIW my carrier bearing has play and has 125,000+ miles on it and no issues

Shoot I would guess 1/2” but I can get under there this weekend and give a better answer if you need me to. 1/2” total play meaning like 1/4” forward or 1/4” back if that makes sense
