Hey guys I notice that I only have 3 leaf springs in my Truck and other Taco's have four. When I went to the delearship I saw another Taco exactly like mine it had four too:confused::confused::confused:. So I talk to the parts department to see if I was missing one he check my vin and said that model came like that. I ask said why??????? He had no clue so I was wondering if anyone else came with just 3 leaf springs.

I went offroading on Sunday, as my tire flex my driver side rear tire hit the fender flare and broke the clips:confused:. Part of the fender flare was off so I need help on raising my rear. I noticed there are diffrent sizes in my leaf spring. Can anyone help me and tell me which one I'm missing so I can raise it and not have this problem again.

Heres a pic of my leaf spring set up

I have a 2009 Tacoma Long Bed Sport and I had a problem with my rear end being to soft. I called my local dealer and talked to them about it and they ran my VIN and told me my truck did not qualify for the TSB. I ended up calling Toyota direct and telling them how soft the springs were and my truck was unlevel. I told them it rode horrible and I felt like it was a safty hazard...The next day my local dealer called me and had ADL done within two days.

Just call the direct Toyota number on their website

TSB is a Technical Service Bulletin , and I think he means Add a Leaf with ADL .

The suspension TSB will replace the 3 leaf pack with a 4 leaf pack .

Before my warranty expires I took my truck in for the rear leaf TSB.
Dealer inspected and ordered the parts with the notification from the service advisor that they have done this before and the ride is harsher.
That's okay with me I need it for towing.
Now looking at the parts on order do not match the TSB part numbers.
Can anyone help me out with this.

    Parts On Order:

    48210-35A20 SPRING ASSY. RR R
    48220-35020 SPRING ASSY. RR L
