I have $14K invested in my 97 Taco. Dropped a JDM 3RZFR motor in it recently at 230K+ miles Just got a failed inspection with a list of repairs including frame for $3,700 including power steering pump, upper control arm and frame rust. Seems way to high and would rather just sell it as is. Any advice you can give here? Pic of rust below...

One pic shows a previous weld repair

For your rust look at safetcap.com I used them for the rear on my 97 and worked great.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
What ever someone is willing to pay. Depends if you have a strong local market.

With Those Tires and Wheels maybe $1000.00 I paid $ 500.00 for my Truck

    Good luck

Great tip Jumm! Just need to find someone in Richmond willing to work on the frame with the safetcap.
