a guy local to me is selling his Jason brand Pace topper. I’ve never heard of the company but honestly I don’t know much about topper companies at all.

Does anyone have experience with this brand? Is there anything I should be worried about or look for? I’m a complete amateur when it comes to this. He’s asking $700 but I’m making a good swap with him and gonna see if he will take $600 with cash from the hood swap. From what I could find, I’m on mobile at work, a new one is around $1,200-$1,400 is that to be expected in the second hand topper world?

Advice in this decision would be greatly appreciated. Should I expect to lose some MPG with a topper?

I added a photo of what he sent me.

A flat topped shell like that which matches the cab roof won’t do anything to hurt the mpg from wind resistance, it will only add a bit of weight to the equation.

Now if you put large items on the top of it...

Any idea as to quality of the Jason brand?

Sorry, dont know. Check for cracks, weathering on top, fit and such and go with it if the price seems good. Go online to see if they still exist too, my Gen 1 top manufacturer went out of business and I couldn’t get spare glass anymore.
