Sue me if you don't like this thread. I know there are tons on here about suspensions but I can't find what I need.

I got a 2019 Taco Off Road. I'm looking to Lift it to get 33's on it and I don't have an endless budget. I have heard that block kits are straight from hell and it'll wreck the ride. I don't know but I need advice (and PICTURES) on what to do? I can get rough country kit's cheap, Tuff Country, I can get block kits for next to nothing.

What should I get and why?

I want 3" up with 33"s and 17's but again... Budget.

Load up some pics as well.

What is your budget?? How do you plan on using your truck?

That will help determine what set up to get.

What can I get for $1,000? More than that I'll have to wait / sell some stuff to justify to the wife. Lol

get a top plate spacer, not one that gets compressed into the coil but one that bolts onto the top of the stock shock.

It won't change your stock ride, it won't flex as well offroad but it will fit the tires.

I bought an ebay 2'' front spacer and a 1'' block and it works just fine for normal use.

My $1,000 doesnt include tires because I want to do rims as well at the same time.

My off road will be little. I'm from maryland and there unfortunately isnt anything near by other than the beach.

    So 2" front, 1" rear fits 33's?

    Pics?

3" didn't fit without cutting and trimming for 285's. If someone fit 285's on 2" up front, they (1) drive in a straight line on the road, (2) don't go offroad and (3) are liars.

Get billstein 5100’s on all 4 corners, with an AAL and OME 2888 coils. You’ll have about a 3” lift up front and you’ll be under 1k. That’s the setup I’m running and I got it from Headstrong Offroad. 658FE490-1E2B-4DC8-9880-BCA4B1F7BF97.jpg

Ride is actually softer. I really like it and I’ve had it for around a year. Done a fair amount of off-roading in snow, sand, and rocks too. I have the shocks set at 0.

in this set up the Coil 888 is giving you the lift not the Strut.

Yeah the 888 coils provide the ~ 2.5” of lift after it settles

you wont be able to fit 33s with this lift unless you run 887s.

You can fit 255 33’s but not 285’s. No matter which coil you chose you’re still going to need to do some cutting to run 285’s.

2nd this. I am at 3” lift on 33.7 ish and I rubbed quite a bit. If you do ever plan on wheeling your truck (if you move etc..) I would recommend CMC “cab mount chop” helped with articulation on mine
